Morena is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa with extensive experience in criminal and civil litigation, regulatory compliance, and human rights law. He has represented clients in court, arbitration, and mediation, drafted legal opinions, and provided legal advice on a wide range of matters. His expertise includes analyzing complex cases, preparing legal briefs, and guiding clients through both litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes.

Morena’s legal journey also includes impactful work in the area of human rights, particularly in child statelessness matters, where he advocated for the recognition and protection of vulnerable children’s rights in South Africa. He has further contributed to the advancement of data privacy and compliance, with a special focus on the implementation of the POPI Act.

Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the Witwatersrand and completed his Practical Legal Studies with the Law Society of South Africa. He is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Compliance Management at the University of Cape Town and has completed specialized courses in opinion writing, drafting heads of argument, and career development.
