Jasen (Jason) Dewkurun

Jasen has practised in commercial and intellectual property law since his admission to the Bar. He advises international and local clients on IP strategy, registration, enforcement, and complex commercial matters, including anti-counterfeiting actions, customs enforcement, regulatory compliance, and cross-border protection strategies.

He is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of KUASA Ltd, where he has led strategic IP registration and enforcement programmes for multinational brands and overseen high-value advisory and litigation mandates.

Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer of a management company licensed by the Financial Services Commission and began his career as a Barrister-at-Law, advising on corporate structuring, M&A, licensing, and commercial litigation. He is a member of the Bar of Mauritius and the Bar of England and Wales.
